You may have been tempted to play Minecraft because of your kids. If you’re enjoying the game so far and are looking for things to do with your kid, try viewing the Sunset/Sunrise.
Particularly if you’ve got Shaders installed (shaders reinvent the lighting of the game and make Minecraft look closer to modern triple-A games), the sunset/sunrise in Minecraft is absolutely beautiful. One day passes in Minecraft for every 20 minutes in real life. You get another 90 seconds for sunrise, 90 minutes of dusk, seven minutes of night, and 10 minutes of daylight. It’s really nostalgic to have the in-game music play as you watch the sunrise/set over your hard-earned survival world.
